~Plain Bored~

Finally, i've decided on my feature writing story. I guess i'll b writing about credit card frauds. Hopefully this time i can get enough info to stick to it...sighz...if I switch topics again, i'll be doomed! Today's haze is pretty bad. I can hardly see wat's beyond the Sunway Pyramid hotel! When will it ever go away?! Been downloading stuff from the internet as well =)

Sighz...don't really know what I'm crapping here. Bits and pieces of boring stuff. Guess it had been a dull day yesterday with not much goings-on. Hopefully the song Lips of an Angel was successfully transferred to YC. It's a really nice song.

~Lips of an Angel~

Anyway, feeling kinda lazy now. Hehe. Didn't really blog since i started my Monash University Communication Degree =) Hardworking, aren't I?lol. Ok, so...wanna update about my life here. Units taken are Intro to Communication Studies, Contemporary Worlds 2, Feature Writing, Marketing and Malaysian Studies. Sigh...Malaysian Studies...haven't really done much there. Anyway, life here, so far, not bad. My new friends here, real nice =) With compliments to Yina (Coursemate), Joy (Roomie), Sze Yin (Roomie), YC (Chauffeur...lol), Wan Yee (My childhood friend). Well, a little background on my new friends:

Yina: Always says i'm funny when the funniest things come from her actually. Loves repeating her sentences. A really great friend to have if you love miso soup, ice skating (we must learn how to skate someday...i love those nice toned legs of figure skaters...hehe), blogging, eating lots of food =D Likes dogs with a stupid look (pugs, bulldogs) Hahaha! Hopefully will not come strangle me when she sees this. Oh yeah, her latest craze is to be a Paris Hilton look-alike. But, honestly, i'm beginning to like Paris as well. Used to think Paris is only a party gal, but actually she can sing (Stars are Blind-nice song) and she's really creative (in my opinion) but she should learn how to dance =) Yina followed me to Ipoh last week and it was really amazing to see her expression when she ate in Ipoh...it's like she has never tasted good food in her life...Hahaha!! At the same time, i'd like to promote..."Ipoh has cheap and delicious food!"

Joy: My crazy roomie! She's the funniest person i've ever met. Really good at cooking and cooks extra food for me as well. As she's reading this while i'm typing, she's laughing away. Haha. Used to think she's weird as she talks to me when i was asleep. But she's damn hardworking (wakes up at 5 in the morning just to study! Amazing!) and damn tidy (makes a good housewife) Hahaha. Again, i think she'll strangle me when she reads this. Really fun to have her as my roomie, get nice food, get funny little dances and karaoke singing (we sing in the room...hahaha), get to watch lots of downloaded movies (we've cinema nights in the room...lol), get nice games from her as well. Oh yeah, 1 more thing, she's afraid of heights! But the most amazing thing is...she actually went on the 360 degree boat ride during the orientation bash though she closed her eyes throughout the whole ride. She's so sporting...cool!

Sze Yin: Another roomie of mine =) She loves shopping (Vincci, esprit), loves to watch mtv, loves Korean stuff, has really nice white speakers and a white lamp which i envy, has really violent games (but really funny games), loves to make up (has tons of it on the table), love the keropok lekor she cooks, she loves cooking as well and loves o2jam (plays it like a pro). Her speakers are so cool =) Often used when we watch movie during our "movie nights". Has a curler (used it to curl Joy's hair, haha) and really interested in fashion. Last but not least, she can sing =)

YC: Ahhh...my chauffeur...lol! Just kidding. Really appreciate the nice food we get to eat when you're around. *hint* *hint* tonight's dinner =) Too bad if he's really going to Aussie next year, then me and Yina will be stuck with sucky food from the Orange coffee shop, bored with the food in Pink coffee shop...sobz. But at the same time, wishes him all the best in Aussie if he decides to go there. He was my 'buddy' during orientation bash in Sunway Lagoon and we became 'food' friends since then...lol.

Wan Yee: Hey...this is my childhood friend. Really unbelievable that she is now doing her tertiary studies in the same place. She's currently in Sunway doing accounting. I'm so glad that she can mingle with my friends. Hopefully everything's ok for u, my dear friend. Anything you want, just tell me. Any problems, i'll try to help you out if i can (listening will do as well...hehe). You and I have the longest friendship...hmmm...how long has it been?...since kindy?LOL. Hopefully we remain as friends for life. Contact me more often, ya. Well, a little background information for those who don't know her yet. She can really cook! Other things will be, she loves to read especially Harry Potter, loves music (will teach you how to play the piano someday...hehe), these days i think she's into blogging as well and scared of doggies!

Well, that's all about my friends here in Monash. Studies-wise...arrgh...loads and loads of assignments! Presentations, SCARY! Good thing I don't have presentations anymore. But then again, after those few presentations, hopefully i'll be more confident in my future presentations. Reminder: Must talk in class to get marks for class participation!LOL! Lecturers not bad. Some of them are really good lecturers and I really respect them.

Next, gonna talk about some of the nice food. So far, the best would be Kim Gary's french toast. Thanks to Yina for introducing it. Another one would be Bar-B-Q! Again, recommended by Yina again. Another place for nice food would be New Paris, recommended by YC. Hopefully, today get nice food as well =) Yesterday's food was delicious, ate salted chicken from Ipoh with rice and miso soup by Yina =) with peaches for dessert. Oh yeah, I must also mention the soya bean couple. The soya bean stall beside my uni is really nice and i'm really addicted to it. Must buy a cup of soya bean mixed with black sugar this Thursday =D *slurp* *slurp* Always sold out by 2pm. People actually reserve soya bean with black sugar from that soya bean couple! Bought it for Chin Kit as well (last week). Hopefully he liked it. Here's a 'warning' to those people eating at Orange. Do not order 'teh o ice limau'. Joy went there, ordered it. The waiter brought her drink, took out a lime from his pouch, the same place he put money in, squeezed it into her drink, drops the lime into her drink served her the drink! Ewww!

Oh yeah, another little adventure i'd like to put in would be my interview at 8tv. That is such a happening place! I even got a tour around that station and HotFM as well. Got to enter the DJ's on air room! It was such a great experience and everyone seems so friendly there. Maybe someday i'll do a part time or internship job there =)

Last but not least, well, i might be moving out to my own apartment next year =) But then again, I also like my roomies. Sigh... But if I move out, I get a car and I won't be confined to the Orange coffee shop as well as that Pink coffee shop. Another thing would be...it's cheaper that way. My current rental is RM550 per person for a room with 3 people! This is CUT THROAT pricing! But, I'm really gonna miss my roomies...sobz. Another advantage of moving out would be having a dog! That's like so cool! If only someone would give me or sell me a Chi Hua Hua for a really, really low price and hopefully Yina will be allowed to own it. Then it'll complete her Paris Hilton look-alike profile...LOL!

Finally, I'm done with my latest entry for my blog which I've delayed for ages and ages. Got to go now, Joy has cooked me a delicious lunch =)
